Vintage Wood and Wrought Iron Courting Candle. What is a "courting candle" ? In the late 1800s when a suitor came calling, the father took a quick look and decided how long he could stay. If he was handsome, upstanding or wealthy he would raise the candle. If he was homely, dishonest or poor, he would lower the candle. When the flame burned down to the metal holder, the date was over and the suitor had to leave.

Vintage Pair Three Hole Bead Chain Ceiling Fixture Shades. These two ceiling shades are 10-3/8" dia. x 4" deep and are painted on the interior with cream and caramel. They date to 1930-40's and have a ribbed design. One of them has a crack and they have some chipping around the chain holes as shown. Other than as mentioned they are in good used condition. Vintage Hunting Shooting Spectator Walking Stick Seat. This great leather, aluminum and wood walking stick stool is 35-1/2" tall when used as a cane and it is 32" tall when used as a seat. It has the #573 but no other identifying marks. There is some wear to the leather handles but no tearing to the seat portion. The leather is soft and supple. Overall it is in good used condition. Shipping weight is 3 pounds.

Vintage Mid-century Modern Mahogany Mink Sweater Dress Collar. This lovely mink collar is 16-1/2" dia. and is lined with satin. It has a fabric wrapped hook and eye closure. It is in excellent used condition with no loss of fur.

Antique Oshkosh Minnetonka Hat Travel Case Trunk Luggage. This great hat case is 19" tall x 20" wide x 8-5/8" deep. It has an satin fabric interior with two pockets and a leather handle. It does not have any staining but the fabric is faded. It has a slight musty odor. Overall it is in good used condition. It would make a great decorative storage piece. Use alone or stacked with other hat cases for a unique side table. Shipping weight is 7 pounds.

Antique Hat Travel Case Trunk Luggage Decorative Accessory. This great Victorian hat case is 16" tall x 17" wide x 9-3/8" deep. It has an antique fabric interior with two pockets and a leather handle. The handle strap is broken but the handle is still attached via the metal under pieces. It does not have any staining nor unpleasant odors. Overall it is in good used condition. It would make a great decorative storage piece. Vintage Two Pair Drapery Swag Valance Holdback Festoon Rings. These drapery curtain swag holdbacks are 4-1/2" dia. and each comes with 3-3/4" long offset brackets.
